Juniors:

• Juniors play Saturday afternoons; they learn fundamental badminton skills, and play games.

• We have two sessions: 9-13 year-olds play from 1:00pm to 2:30pm; 13 -18 year-olds play from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. 12 and 13 year-olds may play in either session, depending on their level of competence. Our coaches will determine which group is most suitable for your 12 or 13 year-old.

• Players must bring their own badminton racket, badminton-rated protective goggles (available at most sports stores), non-marking footwear, and a labeled water bottle. We provide shuttles.

Adults:

• Adults play every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.

• We highly recommend that you wear protective goggles. Footwear should have non-marking soles. We supply shuttles.

• We offer Friday evening drop-ins at $5 per session. Before your first session, complete the drop-in form on the home page. Please email us by Thursday evening to check if there are spots available. Payment by e-transfer to  blackburn.bc.ottawa@gmail.com is preferred (or bring exact change).

Scheduled cancellations are shown on the club Calendar. Non-scheduled cancellations (e.g. in case of a power outage or similar event) are posted on the home page as soon as we are made aware of them.
